The Largest and Most Expensive Orlando Area Listing Lands on the Market

With a massive list price of $30 million, a huge waterfront home in Windermere, Florida is now the most expensive and largest listing in the area.

The property sits at the top of the Windermere and nearby Orlando home listings, according to®.

The 30,000 square foot home encompasses 18 acres on the shores of a lake near Orlando.

“This accumulation of land area is very unusual, and you have almost 50,000 square feet of structures on the property,” says Mick Night. night and John Pinelboth of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, are the listing agents for the property.

“It’s a kind of timeless architecture. I haven’t encountered anything like it in my 34 years in the Orlando real estate market,” adds Night.

The stately main house was built in 2011. It features classic Georgian architecture with seven bedrooms and 14 full bathrooms. Rooms are spacious and feature mahogany wood accents, wall paneling, and Murano chandeliers.

“Whoever buys it is probably going to customize it for themselves on the interiors and decor, but you have the ceiling heights, the room sizes and the scale is there since the rooms are the appropriate scale for the property size,” said the night. “It feels quite open when you walk through it and doesn’t feel compartmentalized. There’s a lot of potential there depending on which direction the buyer wants to go.





Two large bedrooms are on the ground floor; four others, including the master suite, are on the second floor.

And here’s a fun fact: the nightly fireworks display offered by nearby Disney World can be seen from the screened porch, the listing notes.

The resort-style pool “has a country club feel to it. I love how far away it is from the house, so it really is a destination type of pool and allows for an entirely separate place for entertaining,” says Night.

The estate has privacy thanks to the lake, the area and the 500 living oak trees.

“There is a double row of trees planted around the entire perimeter of the property. I have never seen anything like it. It just adds to creating the sense of isolation that you’re there and literally see nothing else,” Night explains.





“There are myriad ways to grow this property if someone doesn’t want it as one big domain,” says Night. “They could do outdoor plots in front of the house; they could make a family complex and have more structures. They could develop the land on the east side and make several houses there.

The high end area is also where NBA big Shaquille O’Neal had its long-standing Shaq-apulco estate. The 3-acre mansion was listed for sale for $28 million in 2018 and eventually sold for $11 million in 2021.
