Houston investor adds to D-FW holdings with two apartment purchases

A Houston-based investor has acquired two North Texas rental communities.

Venterra Realty has over 22,000 apartments in 17 US markets. The company was founded in 2001 and manages $4.7 billion in properties.

The company already has apartments in Dallas, Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and The Colony.

Venterra Realty’s latest purchases are in Grand Prairie and Duncanville.

“We have seen excellent growth in the D-FW Metroplex and are excited to expand our Texas portfolio with the addition of the amenity-rich Mission Mayfield Downs and Bella Ruscello properties,” John Foresi of Venterra Realty said in a statement. .

The recently purchased Mission Mayfield Downs is a 258-unit rental community located off State Highway 360 on Mayfield Road.

And Bella Ruscello is a 216-unit property in Duncanville near the Waterview Park Mall near US Highway 67.

“Venterra has become known as a company committed to delivering a class-leading living experience to the market, and we look forward to identifying opportunities to further improve living standards by implementing the platform of Venterra’s customer-focused management,” Chairman Andrew Stewart said in a statement.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is the nation’s top apartment investment market, with more than $12 billion in purchases in the first half of 2022.
