Clyde Evans Richerson Jr., 75, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Katy, Texas.
Clyde was born in Rosebud, Texas to Irene Lemmons and Clyde Richerson Sr. on November 7, 1945. He attended Killeen High School and graduated in 1964. He played basketball and football for the Killeen Kangaroos. As a teenager he enjoyed working on cars and drag racing. He has worked in many professions throughout his life. He was a real estate agent, mortgage banker, business owner and pipeline designer. He recently retired as a piping designer for Optimized Process Designs, LLC in December 2020. He enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, horse breeding and showing, cooking barbecues. for family and friends and vintage car collection. He loved all animals, especially his two Maltese dogs Bigun and Buddy as well as his cats Pepper and Precious. They would all find love and care in Clyde’s lap.
He married Lani Richerson on September 1, 2012 in Brenham TX. Together they enjoyed gardening, fishing, taking pontoon rides and attending vintage car shows. Previously he was married to Kathleen Styles Richerson, they had three children together Renee, Sean and Laura.
Clyde is predeceased by his son Sean Richerson, daughter Renee Richerson, sister Kay Steffey and parents Irene Lemmons and Clyde Evans Richerson, Sr.
Clyde is survived by his wife Lani Richerson; her children Laura and Glen Williams, Tommie Richerson, Tiffany and Bill Hinds, Steffany and Cameron Fines; his sister Janice and Clarence Meiske; grandchildren Stephanie and Cole Richerson, Wade, Travis and Trent Richerson, Jesse, Hazel, Josh and London Hinds, Eva and Trevor Kirby, Paige, Reid and Brock Fines; great-grandchildren, Abbie Richerson, Adelynn and Carson Hinds.
